Alright, I have asked several people and yet they do not tell me. If anyone is kind enough to tell me how to do so I will be greatly appreciated thanks

hi =)
to relocate you first need to build a outpost where you want to relocate to. then you got to wait for that outpost to get full controll ticks (24 ticks), then clikc the op, then the arrow pointing down. it will cost you 1 oil per km your traveling or max 10000 and 50 energy. you can not relocate with units in your colony

Just some additional info ...
You may not relocate straight after relocating even if you made a mistake (sadly) 
You will have to wait 72 Control Ticks on your colony before being able to use the function of relocating.

question: when relocating; do you have to start over for structures at the new site?? or all is following you?
