Is it just my imagination or have all of the alignment colours been changed recently? (as well as those added)

I've noticed an increase over the past few days - in all my alliances - of reports to me about my members attacking an ally, or reports from my members about an ally attacking them. Im pretty sure that not too long ago allies were marked with a nice bold and clearly visable blue. Now it seems to be some kind of wishywashy pale colour that looks almost grey on some screens. The main reason im being given for these attacks is "I didn't realise they were an ally". It certainly never happened like this before, so I was wondering if it was intentional by Admin to increase the carnage that they like so much

I would also like them to be back to how they were.
