The mythical physical piercing shotgun mk1's damage is only 30-155 as you can see here :

And you can also see that this guy im fighting it have one too , notice the pad this guy is standing on is a cooling buff pad , not an extra damage buff pad

And how come his shotgun have the capability to deal a damage that is greater than the damage limit of the shotgun itself ? as 155+6= 161 maximum

Hacker or a bug ? I want your answer devs , feel free to comment below

Did you calculate your -resistance? Becuase from the movement in the last pitcure and you were already out of the shotgun range) I assume you were not on the buff at the moment when he shot with his shotgun. And you used the god mode torso which in a good case has -13 resistance. So 161 max damage + at least +13 damage because of the -13 resistance is 174. So its totally fine. And I didnt mention if that was a 2v2 or 3v3 battle after every destroyed mech you can make +5% damage.

you was on a no resistance buff...the shotgun must have been fused to a higher power or maybe it was a 2v2/3v3

Damage is calculated based on tile they were on. So if they stood on default floor first, it is possible to hit for more damage as tiles do not take effect unless you are on them. If they were on the ignore tile already and you hit them for more, that is indeed a bug.
