We all know the negative amount of hitpoints your enemy gets when you overkill it.

Like this:

http://prntscr.com/dulucm

So, the point is the more negative damage you do in battles, the more power points you farm. For example, you do -123, then that's +123 power in your power source.

Until you get a certain amount of power points, you'll eventually get/create one of these babies:

http://prntscr.com/duly61

It just adds more variety in gameplay. Unlike the ol' "spamming-all-the-boxes" we all know and do to improve our fusion.

So, any thoughts? If so, comment or vote! :)

Updates:
*There will be a +15% additional overkill damage if you are using heat and energy mechs.

Seems like a good idea, but I feel people will be leveling up their items way too quickly. It might end up being a very broken mechanic. Especially for people who play alot... Maybe just award half of the damage as power? Orrrrr wait till it hits a 1000 points of overkill damage and it gives you a lets say 300 - 500 power kit. Something like that?

Or maybe I'm overthinking it? You guys let me know.

Hi! Thank you for your comment, and sorry the really really late respond. Can't believe how much topics were made in those days when I wasn't around.

Anyways, I don't see this to be a broken mechanic.

I honestly disagree with that. The average level of your item should be seven and more. And to fuse your item 1 level takes a dramatic amount of power. Also considering the amount of players having level 16 items is also a lot.

Also, in my battles, my average "over kill damage" is only between 30 and 80. I rarely get minus 100 damage.

Well with this new mechanic, people will eventually get their times worth. And at least people who doesn't spend tokens for power kits will get a nice boost of power kits.

I don't mind it being implemented, it will however heavily favor physical mechs ;)

Indeed, it will. Although if you are using a heat or energy mech, there will be a +15% to the overkill damage you've done.

I don't see why not, but maybe tweak the random damage so that your overkill damage will be minimized.
