Hi SM Admins,
Can you explain the logic behind the ladder ranking system?
As far as I know the ranking is based on what ranked person u beat, so if I beat a player ranked 3 does that mean I would jump to 3? I am so confused with the new system. I heard its not based on how many fights you win, so if I play just one match and beat a player ranked 1 I would jump to rank 1, how does that seems fair to the person who has made his way to the top beating a ton of good players if that is how it works?

Here an example :
 Old Exit :
15 wins - 0 losses ... rank 83
Lovely Death :
1286 wins - 104 losses ... rank 87
8573 % more wins (wins  )
If you say, ok Old Exit had the better win-loss ratio ... Just Give Up win-loss ratio 76.61%
Old Exit win-loss ratio 90,91%So my suggest for best ranking would be exactly between "old" ranking and new ranking.Only to make a lot of wins like Ryan Ramos did, should be not the best ranking (old ranking) - I agree about that.
Jumping up and down like a rubber band also not ...
I saw players falling more then 100 ranks, also top players falling from 1st to 24th.
So the idea about the new ranking is good, BUT it is way to extrem calculated.
Exactly between old and new ranking would be for ALL perfect
Please dont start here telling "nonsense", try to stay with a serious discussion

I agree with BestPlayer, I have seen this discrepancy as well. Why would someone with so less no of matches played be up in ladder ranking even if they have beaten someone who ranked above them.
Its totally unfair for players that put in a lot of effort to reach their ladder rank, rt.

Another example to add to Bestplayer's post the ranking ladder on screenshots show MrX with 19 wins 10 losses and not beating a single top ranking player got to rank 1:  Battles showing wins and loss   whereas player with better wins in top 10 are behind him, this is what confuses me all the time.

I definitely agree that this system is ridiculously stupid. The rankings are decided like this: if a 'noob' beats a 'veteran' then the noob will gain more points, while if a 'veteran' beats a 'noob' then the veteran won't gain as much points on the ranking system. It's extremely confusing and it's pretty dumb. DeadInside had over 2,000 wins last week with 100 deaths and didn't even get a medal because of this system. #ChangeItBackToNormal
