If you equip in your mech, weapons like Needle Blaster get Bonus Heat Damage, would be like this:

10 is just and example, would be better 5 to dont make the Heat Eruptor Mark I so Over Powered...

And also make a Electric Bullets Storage too :D

Sounds like it could lead to some interesting build ideas, although balancing this could be tricky.

It's a yes from me if it's carefully implemented.
