Heres my set up :

Image

And heres an example of a Lava Sprays/Inferno axe user Image ( Mech belong to socialmisfit1 )

Things you would need :

1:High heat capacity at least 230 and cool down 100
so you can survive an average combo of the Lava Spray Users as 65+80+23 = 168

2: A largest cooldown kit you can find
Rare cooling kit : 200
Epic cooling kit : 220

3 : Torsos with high HP capacity
Example : God Mode

How it works :

1 : trick your enemy wisely until they wasted most of their lava sprays or drain as much drain as much Energy as you can in early game with a long range
Energy weapon like Super Nova

2 : Keep using Cooldown and attack wisely , in the worst case you can use your cooling kit which makes all the Heat from the lava sprays vanish

Hope my personal idea helped you guys some how

Yea I can see how this can work :) awesome idea! here's my take on it.

For physical mechs, lava scope + any engine booster could work pretty well too, if you intend on bringing and using a cooling kit every match vs a heater. Using this setup gives a minimum of 190 heat capacity and 71 cooling, using engine booster mark 1.

This strategy could work really well of you can time your kit and cooling turns accordingly. In the best case scenario, the opponent almost double overheats you, but then on your free action point you use the kit instead of cooling for a second time.

Keep in mind this physical module strategy leaves 6 module slots open for resistance, health, and any bullet modules you may want to put on.

Thanks for your opinion , this set works really well for me against the lava sprays mech , tanky physical mechs and perhaps even energy mech my drone and my feet combo can drain about 103 energy per turn without consume energy too :geek:

Well, of course this would be very effective if no kits were allowed. High special-damage differentials and low-to-no cost energy weapons, should be a no-brainer build.

On an unrelated side note, good job to the Dev team for implementing physical weapons/legs that knock out used-to-be-stable-Rank1er 650hp~ players in 4 hits or less. Won't be surprised if that Mr. Smiley thing from April Fool's becomes an actual mech release.

Good technique, but you'd be gambling on which mech you're up against. Not having an energy kit would be disaster against an energy mech.

100 cooling may be ideal against a single lava spray user but won't do any good against a meltdown hammer and lava spray user due to those weapons doing cooling damage. That said, your cooling will be decreased to 80 or below in a matter of turns.

Good job for just now figuring out their master plan.

We got a real genius here, folks.
