This game has gone to the dumpster it has become trash

I literally cannot play a game where every "Winner" is the same overused Coldfire/Lavaspray setup and don't get me wrong it will probably get nerfed massively...but then there will be yet another overpowered setup that gets overused and the issues continues.

What im getting at is that the core point of the game is gone Good job Tacticsoft you literally destroyed the point of the game and let me recite it incase sombody doesn't know or has

Build, Fight, Prevail! Design your own Mech exactly how you want it

I can't do any of those except build and fight unless i hand over some cash and hopefully get lucky with the myth boxes and get a Coldfire or Lava but guess what? i don't want to pay money for what was originally a great free game that followed true to its core point now if i had to purchase this game to play this i would totally do that because thats different everybody gets a fair chance and everybody gets the same amount of boxes.

But nope apparently sacrificing some playerbase to go P2P and having not the entire playerbase be pissed is difficult (Seriously a bloody tower defense game is on steam right now for what i believe 10$ and its successful and started out the same way SM did as a indie game on flash game websites)

I just never understand why great indie game companies turn out like this...greed? Somebody not doing their job right and screwing everyone else in the company? is there just not alot of people who work at said company?

What baffles me the most is SM had it great before myths were introduced and i do understand companies need money to run and operate (as does the world prettty much) but why go this route?

Im sorry if this post is harsh but this entire issue has been going on for the past 6 months if not more and nothing truely is being done about it, Every myth does way more damage than legendaries and i just find no matter how well i design my mech with what has been given to me i cannot compete against Rank ones due to them always being that 100 DMG per turn group

100 DMG remember when 100 DMG was like reaching 200 DMG in the old days?


ALSO FYI This is DoomedEternity/LogicalDoom this is a old AG account from 8 months ago that i played SM on and it decided to switch to this account when i logged into this so eh

This message wasn't harsh, it stated true facts, or at least what are true facts at this point.

MESSAGE TO TACTICSOFT: I want you to know this. Everything that is implemented into the game is YOUR final decision. We had absolutely NOTHING to do with the downfall of SM. The way you have had it for years is this, we come up with the ideas, you decide whether or not they are good for SM. It seems for a while now you have been ignoring our ideas and suggestions.

You are classifying yourselves as money hogs. I love this game, I have been playing it well over a year now. By now I have quit the ladder battles because I know I will still find and fight an overpowered axe/hammer/coldfire/lava spray mech. You are ruining the game, and you keep ruining it for some reason. Oh wait, money.

Also please take the time to announce your updates in the in-game "news" of SM.

First of all, sorry to hear that you're quitting. We've put a lot of work into making this game better (including adding many many free mythicals for all players, creating a new campaign, a new shop, 2v2 battles, 3v3 battles to name a few) and we will keep working on that. I hope you will come check out our game again after some time and see some of what else we've in store!

There's a lot more coming and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.



As for the rest... We truly appreciate feedback, we discuss it all and have regular discussions about it, however, we're looking for constructive feedback. We are people too, we do what we can but we don't really need dramatic statements based on fairly broad assumptions.

This game is still doing really well (growing actually!). While it's true there's people who work and live on this game, our aim (and why we do this to begin with) is to entertain as many players as possible as thoroughly as possible.

Despite some hiccups (we all make mistakes) I think you'll find we've added a *lot* of great content to that end.

There will be more of that if you stay tuned Including a *big* balance update!

There is no "downfall" of SM, as much as you say it that simply is not the case (Ilona said as much before), quite honestly if you feel that the game is having a "downfall" it may be time to take a break, I think when you come back you'll find a lot new content to enjoy.
