So the game gave physicals a huge update, good. What's not good is that some other Mythical Items are pretty bad now. I'm going to compare the Armor Breaker and the Death Punch. The Armor Breaker has superior stats in every single way besides it inflicts more heat to yourself, and that it doesn't do heat damage. These two disadvantages mean absolutely nothing when it comes to no energy usage, more resistance drain, less ammo consumption, and much more effective range. I'm suggesting making Death Punch cost no energy. I believe this would make some people use Death Punch as much as Armor Breaker in heat builds. Since Death Punch costs energy, many people downgrade it, since weapons that cost energy are at a HUGE disadvantage. I'm pretty sure this will balance the game between these two high damage weapons. Thanks for considering my ideas and giving me feedback.

Sure.... why dont we just delete the energy use from all mythical items. Looks like sooner or later we will get back to the point where non of the weapons (expect energy) used energy. No energy need mostly 100+damage and 54 heat..... two or three of them in a mech and bye bye double nova and most of the electric builds.
So, sorry but its a big no from me.

Two No's is quite a negative feedback against my suggestion I must say. I'm pretty sure you two aren't considering that Armor Breaker is insanely over the top right now compared to Death Punch. Instead of completely rejecting my suggestion, I think you should put into mind what I said about the Armor Breaker itself, as well. If Death Punch costs Energy, then so should Armor Breaker. To be honest, Armor Breaker should definitely cost 15 energy according to its insanely superior stats. And by the way, I haven't seen you in a while MrOneTwo, thanks for the feedback!

Also DP also does have the potential to do over 200 Resource damage total. You can also stack this effect twice. AB can do 150 max but you need 3 to match the effect of 2 DP. This is why AB is soo much lighter. If you asked me, they should add Energy to more heat weapons. Even consider adding small energy requirement for needle mk 1/2 and Evil Rock. Energy mech are sort of at a disadvantage lately.

Physical and heat mechs barely use any energy at all now, and the only viable energy build these days is the dual nova or ColdFire/nova build. Most of the energy myths (except the nova, coldfire and sparks) are pretty much useless since they don't deal enough energy damage. It's well known that energies rely on bonus energy damage for the majority of their damage, and it's the only reason the classic nova build is so dangerous while most others are useless.
