Seems I really talk against or with a wall!
- MANY players - really MANY MANY players (who use a PC) have this problem
- it is on your side
- I play every day and 2 years I had NEVER this problem
- Internet Explorer do NOT work even after 30 tries (refreshing)
- Google Chrome works AFTER 20 - 30 tries (refreshing)
- Mozilla Firefox works best with arround 10 - 20 tries (refreshing)
I gave up to explain you THAT it is a BIG problem FOR Supermechs !!!
(for me too - but seems you dont care)
NOT more than 180 "Players in Chat" now more than 4 or 5 hours ... but sure ... NOBODY have that problem.
(it was used to be 500 - 1000 "Players in Chat" at that time where that problems was NOT here)
HOW you explain ... if it would be ONLY my problem ... that ALL 3 browsers works different in case of this issue !???
Please calm down. Getting angry or using hyperboles will not help anyone.
As for your player count concern - while we have our ups and downs, overall the game has grown significantly.
I am not claiming it is only your problem, however, when we have widespread issues, we get widespread reports. Emails, facebook messages and a lot of spam in this forum.
This has been mostly quiet, worse, we don't have the slightest idea where it comes to. We want to fix all problems - whether it's 5000 users suffering or 5, if it's realistic we want them solved. In this case however, we still have no direction on where the problem could possibly be, investigating this right now could take anywhere between hours to months of work from our developers with no guaranteed result.
Could simply be that our new server has a worse connection to you than our old one - this happens (in which case refreshing your IP can help).
It's not related to your account from what you claim, not to your computer, which boils it down to your connection (which means theres nothing we can do) or an unknown factor (which means hours to months - usually closer to the latter - of work from our devs _if_ they ever find that factor).
Please understand, it's a small team. If we don't know what the problem is exactly.. We can't really afford to go on a chase unless it affects a lot of players.
The fact this problem occurs in all three browsers only further shows that it is most likely related to your connection - these things change. Your provider can change how it decides to do networking for example.
Our servers are very far away from you, we don't have servers all over the world like some do (as that is simply beyond our scale) and as such it is very much possible.
Download programs running on a PC in your network could also be causing this.
Again - we're sorry, but we can't fix problems if we don't know where to look. We currently have 3 people reporting problems with this over the entire first page of technical issues, none in bug reports. Nothing I can remember over facebook/email. Tickle and Acer seem to be playing again...
We need more information :\
