Hello! i was on the Dev version and i looked through the mythical items.
I noticed the super nova..
30-66 Energy Damage
-110 Energy damage
-5 ressistence drain
1 use
4-6 range
and yeah, Is this a energy version of the deathpunch?
Because it can get between 140-176 Damage if out energy is at 0.
I know that most of the values might not stay because its still in beta but
will there be a physical version of the deathpunch? :D

the super nova is hideously over powered considering that once you're drained of energy there's a lot of *CENSORED* your mech cant do and its much easier to recover from an overheat than a full drain especialy if the opponent is ready to keep you down with the new japan sword

I don't think the developers thought it through too well -110 is far too much

It's an absurdly overpowered weapon. So overpowered a fight against anyone who has 2 of them is a foregone conclusion. I've seen 2 people who have this weapon and both have a 99%-100% win ratio, but the devs probably made a decent amount of cash the day it was released so good for them.

Hope it's fixed soon.

Just checked supermechs, And it is there!
I didnt think it was because it didnt say "New mythical item released!"
Ugh.. I hope they nerf it..
And about the physical deathpunch, I was asking if they are going to make a physical version of the deathpunch/super nova :D

I think we'll see about its balance once people adapt and change their strategies to take it into account.

Energy was, formerly, a bit of an underdog. Not as fast at finishing as Physical, and not as brutally effective as Heat.

Lets see how this will change the meta :)

As always of course, a close eye is kept on these new weapons and if we find them to have a negative effect on the gameplay/balance, we will take action.

But yeah, takes more than some days to know that. Right now, I reckon many mechs simply arent built to survive energy mechs as they're not so common.
