I don't know if this qualifies as "technical" support, so I am putting it here. I have no idea where you can read private messages in super mechs. And before you say it, I have looked in vs and couldn't find it. Just incase you are not convinced, here is a screenshot.

The arrow next to the 'Chat: Global' has a dropdown menu of chats.

If you want to start a chat, you have to click on a persons name in the chat, and then select the message button
