Jeez , just a few days back I remember I read the suggestion for changing name in SM and devs implemented it so quickly? When will BD become so much responsive.

The update to add a free name change was a good idea. Ironically, it probably started because someone in my clan wanted to change his name (his disliked what he chose) and asked a developer to change it, and the dev generously consented. Perhaps that gave them the idea that a lot of people might want to change a name they may have chosen a long time ago, and they were right.
The bonus that you can buy a name change after the initial one is also good. It's a way for players to give back to the game, without buying power. In the past color kits were the way they did that, because they could only be obtained with the use of tokens. I'm not complaining that they made that free, though.
As for those who copy my name, I think it's cute. Everyone needs their own goals and people to look up to.
