I just thought up of a new game mechanic, "Recoil".

You may have already guessed what this does just by the name alone, but for those of you who haven't quite grasped the concept yet, let me explain...

As we all know, recoil occurs when you fire a projectile out of a weapon. This is because of Newton's Third Law of Motion "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.".

I think that this could be applied to seriously strong weapons such as the Death Punch. A weapon with Recoil 1 would push a mech with said weapon back by one space once fired. This mechanic doesn't just apply to weapons either as legs can also have a recoil stat as well.

Recoil works in the same way that Knockback does, with the difference being that you are the one who causes your mech to get pushed back instead of your opponent.
