I think SuperMechs is starting to die out.

I don't fully understand why I think this but I just have this feeling that it's all going to go potty soon. The uproar with the latest patch and that login issue certainly doesn't help either.

:depressed:

I'll probably shake off this feeling but at the moment, I just don't feel confident in the future at all.

That is all...

I'd have to disagree :D There are still 1000 players currently online at the majority of the peak times I play at. This is a large number of players, especially when you look back a few months where 600 players was a lot.

Heck, I can even play during the night now and find matches quickly. I use to have to wait 5 or so minutes before I could find a match as there were just too few people online :)

A worst-case scenario would be if something bad happened to Tactisoft LTD. I understand that keeping a game alive, along with all of it's servers costs real money. So if the company cannot afford all of that, then the game gets shut down.
This is what I particularly fear!

Will Tactisoft LTD along with their games still be alive after 10 years have passed? IDK, I hope so...

But like I said, it's just a feeling that I have at the moment.

Tacticsoft is doing fine, between BD and SM they aren't likely to go down in the foreseeable future... They've survived for 10 years already - they've been in terrible positions multiple times and right now they're in a pretty damn great one - they know how to survive for 10 more.

SM has been growing quite nicely, you know. :)

Don't worry!

Just a temporary issue - seems to be solved by simply clearing your cache and cookies. :)

They have restarted the server I believe, they have also (or are?) investigating if there is more they can do on the server end.

However for the sake of logging in, faster loading and so on, certain data is saved on your computer. As long as that data exists, it can cause problems in the browser using it.

Hope that explains. :)

Well I'm glad that Tactisoft is doing good, the last thing I want is to find out that http://www.supermechs.com is unavailable or transformed into another completely different website. (With companies buying others)

Because when a site gets taken down the domain name gets disowned or gets put on sale, I believe... (Not completely sure that this is true)

I assume that all of your data is stored in the Local or Roaming folder. Is it?

Don't worry, not going to happen. :)

Could be, I know you remove it by simply going to your settings and clearing cookies & cache, never really bothered to find out where it is actually saved! :P
