F*** this s***!

I quit!
It's just laughable how bad this game has become since the mythicals have appeard.

I have a good mech. I can fight nearly any other mech with a real chance to win. I like hard and close fights. The ones where only one turn makes the difference about losing or winning. The ones where both can say: "gg!"

But forcing a player fighting mythical abusers 7 or 8 times a row isn't fun.
Perhaps for the one with the mythicals who likes easy wins and take a push for his ego by winning a match easily without a real chance for the opponent.

We were three friends who started playing this game.
I was the only one left.

I brought my son to this game. Let's see how long until he lose the fun playing this parody of a game...





Perhaps I'll come back in a while to see if the staff had found a solution for mythical abuse.

Until then I want to thank every real player on SM for funny, hard and fair fights. Will miss you guys.

I'm sad to read this, small.
But can understand you. Last week I was near the same point as you now.
I had a bunch of nice matches then sadly I reached rank1 with my LVL 22 mech ...
A lot of mythical players later I was straight pushed back to rank3.

This is just frustrating.
It took four days until I started SM again.

I hope we'll meet again on the battlefield one day.

this year is Battledawn's 9th year if im not wrong and from past 3 yrs its dying continuously progressively.

But it seems that SM will end up more sooner

I feel ya dude.
Its really sad that the devs are just sitting back and letting us argue about kits and myths and not doing anything about it. :x

Its not our fault that they're turning the game into a pay to win peice of garbage, its for reasons like this (myths users/abusers) that I will NEVER spend money on this game EVER. A game that provides pay to win people with such an advantage doesnt deserve to be on Steam, thats why its never getting a cent out of me!

Im going to make a video that punches the devs in the gut for making pay to winners have such an extream advantage. ;)

Trust me itll be the funniest thing youll ever see :lol:

Unfortunately games do need income. There's a lot of things players don't think about when it comes to maintaining a game and it is very difficult to balance a free to play game (unless it becomes insanely popular).

The devs do understand the problems with mythicals and are trying to address them. But it's not so simple:

1) Remove them and what about anyone who has spent money on them already
2) Nerf them to a reasonable state and there'd be no difference between legendaries and mythicals.
3) Make them easily accessible for free to pay players, and there's no temptation to buy tokens.

While it's difficult right now, no game will ever find a healthy balance. As a game develops so do a lot of other things that need to be considered. Over time these things do tend to get easier can it can be a rough road. Just got to give the game some time to develop in to that sweet spot :D

How about

4) Make mythicals really hard but possible to get without spending money. I've suggested the following before - 10,000 SM box and 1% chance for a mythical. That means on average every million SM spent on "mythical box" will get you a random mythical. That is a slow but realistic process.

1 Million SM means 1000 battles won.
72 BCr per day, lets say 2/3 win = 48 wins per day.
21 days for 1000 wins ...

And this only if you play 24/7 and win 2/3 and don't get frustradet by beeing humiliated by mythical abusers while trying to get your randon mythical...

How many of these players do you think will have the patience to play this game 6, 8 or 12 months until they have a mech that has a chance against todays mythical abusers?

Face it, the mythicals were a big, big mistake!
Bringing items in this game that are so strong that the whole balance is ruined, that the other items are useless compared to them...
How could you even think giving a small number of players A-bombs would'nt pi** off the rest?

They urgently need a nerf!
Items have been nerfed before, why else there is the "Balance of item-topic" in this forum?
Mythicals shlould'nt be safe of a rebalance just because some players payed to get them.
Those players payed for getting legendaries before, and some legends were rebalanced too.

You don't have to make them equal to legendaries.
Let them be stronger but not over the top. Let the players pay a price for the higher stats. Quality always had it's costs.

It DOES NOT do more resistance drain and only does 5 more damage, it weighs more than the demolisher currently, so if it uses more bullets it will be a useless weapon. Your big rebalance is to make mythicals the weakest items in the game. 25 bullets for a single shot...that's a riot.

Actually, the "random mythical heat weapon" is a heat sword and it does 40-60 damage compared to 60-73 damage by the rare heat sword. On average nearly 20 damage less, and the upside is it drains resistance.

The heat legs add more heat but do only 35 damage compared to 60 from the legendary heat legs.

The truth is that mythical items ARE better but not massively better than legendary items. They're pretty well balanced as is.

Firstly, you will get a mythical ON AVERAGE each million SM. You have a chance each 10,000 SM and you may just get one the very 1st try.

As for your 66% win % prediction, I played my alt account a bit this week - no mythicals, no epic cooling/regen modules, only +5 fusion on items and my score so far is 57 wins 0 losses with 20 wins in a row at rank 1.

But you don't want to work at all to get mythical items - apparently my suggestion of 10,000 SM for a 1% chance is "too hard". Well you know, it used to be just as hard to get legendary items.

You had to grind for weeks or even months to get a good legendary torso/legs. Now people want it all for free and at once.

You know there are new players who have or had no mythicals, but found an effective setup, grinded for SM to spend on battle credits to be super active, got consistently high placement each week, were accepted into a top clan and started getting mythicals like that.

I'll give a few examples: from my own clan "gladiator", "chocobo" and from other clans "klown", "powtaito", "roccotano" and the last guy doesn't use mythicals even after he got them. And he has a 90% win ratio without mythicals, so maybe JUST MAYBE they're not as overpowered as you think.
