Please let me make one thing clear:

It was identified as bug by Michael, my boss.
So I tried to make a decision which would cause less damage.

Situation A: ignoring it
Result would have been:
- III get called as bug abuser and cheater (I repeat again that i don't think it was done intentionally)
- either a big battle would have happened soon there OR III would have send their units back
- admin get called biased and let cheating happen

Situation B:
- Removing the op, returning the units, give out compensation, no loss for no one, no damage
- admin get called biased

I decided for B and I'd do it again.
I can understand that certain players don't like what I did, but all I can do is saying again that I did it so no one suffers damage. Well maybe me..but meh...

Can we just change the coding back to the alpha version of BD? You know, the one where Michael forgot to set parameters on the nuke so when it lands, everything in the world died instantly. I think that'd be the best way to end the CE.

Also, quick! Everyone call Michael biased!! He's obviously giving the win to RDH!! Quickly!! Say it before the rest of the bandwagon comes!! I'm hipster!!! I said it first!!!

This is preety funny considering last era, the same players exploited a bug to kill a sizeable portion of GML's army, and at that point they weren't complaining about it at all

Bug? What bug? They locked themselves on that outpost to kill an allied army and then we burned their army when they landed and followed into the lockdown to kill their army. They complained that they couldn't add spy fast enough. People here really have bad memories or just want to believe whatever works for their agenda.

but how many times ilona? when has your personal decision of choice B (the one favoring RDH) get to be used once too many? have you ever picked the choice favoring the opposition? i want RDH to win as much as anyone else, but cheating from u is not the way to do it

involved parties (units) today were:

III and NJ

RBR and RDH sent some nukes tho but thats all.

All of the involved parties got more back from me (resources and tokens) as they spent on this move.

I know that III will probably not agree today, but it could have end for them very different with a ban for the member who built the op (bug abusing, exploiting loopholes is banable) and me returning the squads with no compensation at all.

Sorry, but I can't see how my decision B favorites RDH and their allies

Okay so it seems to me that it was a bug, I have already attempted to center the op thete to no success. I think Ilona did the right thing as it shouldt have never happened in the first place. So why let it? Yes there are camps everywhere and moves take too long. However, a bug shouldn't decide who might possibly win the CE. It should be hardwork and planning and fair play, as the guy probably didn't realize it was a bug. And if he did shame on him.

I would say yes to that. During the KMO coalition vs. world war, there were issues brought up in which the side against KMO was more favored according to those playing at the time. In this scenario, that would be in favor of PHIz and company.

I would in no way say this is cheating by the admins. Especially considering NJ actually had the upper hand on the situation but by the time admins got involved, delays were not seen yet. The most likely scenario that would of occurred would of been PHIz's retreat and loss of all resources spent. So in that regard, the bug actually saved a lot of resources. Admins probably should of waiting for eta 2. Then there wouldn't of been such a fuss as PHIz would of turned anyways. Unless they had planned on doing a suicide run and leaving nubs alone to fight. Then yes... you're right, the admin ruined that plan...

And to top it off, I've watched llll coalition somehow get 7-10 of their sub members online with less than an hour worth of time to stop 200+ squads and then watch as 4-6 of them sit there on radiation for the next few hours. But that doesn't seem fishy?

Just because you can build it there doesn't mean it's not a bug. It should say the "cannot build on water" error. The maker of battledawn even said it was a bug.

That is a spot where if you try to place, it will say "OP is too close to the water". I've run into this exact issue countless times in the past, and about 12 times in Greenland just this CE. It has been deemed as such by Michael himself. And I SERIOUSLY doubt you would of liked what Michael's choice probably would of been if he made the decision on what to do. Very seldom do creator's/owners much care about what the "players" think is best. It's very much like customer service, often, if you call in the manager, you find that the worker you talked with before in regards to your issue was actually the nicer one... He probably would of deleted the OP, banned Mafia for making it, and turned everything with no payment back.

Obviously I can't say for absolute sure, but I doubt Michael would of cared what the players on the CE thought was right compared to what he thought was right when he deemed something to be a bug in the game. As the developer of BD, I'm pretty sure he would of assumed the WORST of the players as HE'S the one who coded things. So his thought most likely would of immediately of been "He cheated my system, I will ban him and make everything right".
