Might I add for the record I legit got on last 4min of the tick and rushed dobby to launch with me and even riverside made it. It was really funny that we got this kill as it was the least planned one yet.

We, Joe and me, are still on top of things and look carefully into every issue.

If you are so pleasantly surprised, why lock down the era? People from other era's that are ending may want to play and I am sure BD creator would not like to hear that s/he is losing money. I for one will not boost until this restriction is removed and I encourage all that boost regardless of what side u are on to stop boosting. This era is pretty much paying for the servers and to lock it down is absurd. From a financial standpoint, leave the flood gates open when you are profiting from it. That is just my opinion. If I am banned in the next few hours for this comment, although it is not flaming in any way what so ever, voice my opinion for a chance of admins for many feel that they are biased. Not for nothing Joe and Ilona need a vacation none the less.

I vote for pausing CE on weekends so we can buy food and talk to our gf's. This means Friday-Sunday in all time zones.

and about account share... FGS EVERYONE! complain complain complain is all you every do... even to a point that i get a kazillion buzz at skype 2-4AM just so they could check through if im offline...failure to response means account share... :lol:

well,

with the things going on about account sharing here and there... one thing that made me realize...you know whats funny about "Share Account"... if you think about it properly, "TECHNICALLY".. we got two admin "Sharing" one colony in one world... not two colony, but one... two person making a decision, two person having their "shift" to have an immediate response from everyone's complain from tiny lil bitz... in one world... GIVE IT A BREAK GUYS! SHHHZZZ....! :mrgreen:

I'm very sure you won't be banned for saying that Lex.

But I have to disagree with admins being biased. I would say they are biased in your favor, just as you would say they are biased in our favor. We think the bans should be longer as quite some armies have been lost to the account sharers. On top of that we think we see account sharing a lot more than there are bans being handed out.

However I'm sure you see the same on our side and think some of us are cheating too. So yeah, admins never do anything right for either side

well said bro.. to be honest, thats the problem with having an admin who he/she is your friend... and a friend of your opponent, admin gonna be sandwich with the decision making... its the same case from RL.. your very close friend is a regular customer, the moment a disaster happens, your friend would say... "I am not your friend, i am a paying customer here" :cry:

After spending a few hundreds/thousands, In the end, what are we battling over?? after god know how long will the era end....

Lol, why should you get banned for saying what you think?

There are several reasons why it doesn't make sense to allow new players to join CE now. One of them is, that the possibility gets higher, especially in war times, that players ask friends to build on CE just for spamming purposes or dropping ops for them.
Business wise, it also doesn't make sense to keep it open. We have as always marketing campaigns running to get new players to bd. When they are not restricted to join CE, they'll end up rank 800 or something, being conquered as soon as the lose protection and wouldn't stand a chance with their first armored units while some players have 40+ full squads. So they will leave...
We have loads of other servers restarting the next days where they could enjoy it more.
Another but not major reason is the welcome message. Joining a game where you get a message that the era will end -200 ticks ago looks odd.

I had never a problem with that. As I adminned my first server, I thought that it could be an issue, but it never happens. I could ban my own mother without thinking about it for a second. Its a job and I take it as that.
