What i like is the idea of buying item boxes with mix of items from level 15-30.Thank you very much for that.
Possibility of having now 3 mech configuration is also pretty fine, much better than only switch between last builds. Thnaks a lot.;-)

What I dislike (no, to be honest I hate it :evil: !) is the new weight system.
Its nearly impossible to have a full equipped mech now (empty weapon and module slots), because of the weight (if this was your goal ?, you reached ;-)

Furthermore if you build a mech with about 500kg you will be put anyway in the ring against a 1000kg one (because of the rank?).
In addition its impossible now the play on lower level (level doesnt exist no more) with lvl 18 or 23 for example because for matchmaking configuration of mech isn't relevant.
I'm not sure if I can deal with that for longer time. :-(
It would be nice to read some opinions of other pilots . How do think about the „new“ gameplay?

I would like to thank the creators of this game, because they finally discourage me from Supermechs. Who else knows better assess what is good for this game and what is not? These are the „old“ players, who are here for more than a year or two years, the players who were here from the beginning of the game, those who have experienced many updates (for example Filipas, Tees, hattrickjmr123, Souldescent, Paradoxon and other great players). And these people are still here and the answer is simple, it's a great game. No, this game was great. My opinion is that the last update is the worst in the history of Supermechs. Sorry for such harsh words, but from that we are here to help you make this game better. I disagree for the weight system, new ranking system and I want to back level system. I know, it's just a test version, and maybe going back to the old system (I hope). I think that the cheaters are still here and a really good players who play honestly leaves the game. Maybe new system works, but it is whip / punishment to all players. Problem persists. There must be another way to solve this problem. The game has lost what keep so far: a choice of levels and diversity of mechs. Many players are confused about the new game mode. I also will not play if it does not return the old system. Please, do not do changes at the expense of losing most loyal fans of the game.

I would agree with this topic completely. I notice all the people who replied here share the same disappointment that i feel and all of those people have been here from the beginning, i don't think thats a coincidence.
I used to love sm more than i have ever loved any game. To some people it will seem absurd, but Filipas, Tees, mirror, Lorinser, and a few others know what this is about.
Now when i think of the first version when i started playing it and compare it to this most recent one it almost makes me want to cry a little.
That's how sad & disgusting it is. They are really 2 different games tha just only look similar, but are not. The previous update that completely changed the items was like the first step towards this, it was still fun & playable but not like the original. And now we are here, where it in my eyes went over the line to unplayable.
Maybe it will be better once they get more balance in the game, but i don't believe ever liking this weight-system.
And thanks for the recognition, mirror it felt nice coming from you.

I'm with you guys, my only hope is that developers turn back to previous version, abandoning forever this unhealthy idea of ​​the weight and, above all, of the rank based system. We all want to go back to the old levels.

Please note that we are less and less, no top player is playing more regularly. This update is killing the game. Do something before it's too late. We are 5 or 6 to complain on the forum, but if you look at the chat or in game private messages, they are hundreds to complain.

mirror111, I agree to the skull thing, but with that it's only more painful to remember what this game was and what it is now.... :evil:

To the weight system again.
I also had a few looks to VS Player mode:
:idea: Before the weight update came we got a stable number of players (in chat) between 300 and 400 +X.
:idea: Since the update take place (I logged in different day and night times) it's only about 200-X.
Maybe this is a sign for the developers (a drop of 30-50% of active fighters)....
Can these numbers tell a lie?! I guess not. (..while writing this: 169 players :lol: )
In the end it's all about active users
Maybe we should call for a general strike till they give us our game back?!

hey Tees, did you remember how we played at level 60 with Hal-s? :lol:
I think on this level we met for the first time. aah, golden age of supermechs.

Anyway, that's all about the new update (5.5)? hmm...
