Ladies and Gentlemen, I was not here to stir trouble was just reporting on the era as I saw it. Yes this coalition is very similar to the one VND brought except as you guys say, the VND coalition was probably even greater in term of player talent but not so much in sheer number of subs. As many have stated the difference this era is that competition did not show up which would have given reason to condone the use of these subs.

I was one of the ones in VND who spent much of the era helping try to coordinate between us allies and I appreciate each and everyone that were there to support and play. I am not here to say bash this coalition of yours nor insult it, I was trying to make a comment that with the coalition brought here, those that did show up to compete need to step up there game if they want a chance at winning.

Yes this coalition if they win deserve to win just like any other winner on any era any server but we all know we don't just gauge the success of an alliance on its ability to win but also the competition it faced. It sucks that all the hard work put into building this coalition will actually just hurt the main alliance when its achievements are considered in the future as people will say they had an easier win than the last CE. Not a fault of the coalition but a fault of those that did not show to compete including me. The truth is though that people will obviously think less of this era. It is still very early as some have said, only tick 100 but just comparing the first 100 to the last era it is quite poor.

Andrei is right on point with his comments. This CE with a whole year to prepare and months of experience behind it, could of been done much better and maybe this era would have been more competitive. Yoz Celene Psi Ourania, if I had played this era, you guys know I would have tried and done it as last with VND and if we were so lucky, allies like the last with a hope we would face even stiffer competition. So please don't take my comments here as a personal attack or anything of that sort.

Small comment on this, coalition building and coalition destroying is all part of winning any war. The competition against the VND coalition last era should of been more than enough to easily make it a very competitive win however those alliances were never able time their wars against us right. That is a fault of the competition, not VND. Cbop should of played a better diplomatic game and gotten SAGE/GML to war VND/coalition at an earlier time. Your alliances staggered wars with us, gave us the chance to defeat you guys. My 2 cents on that era.

On that, I pressured SAGE and GML constantly upon realization how big your coalition was, they fell for the ruse. The ruse work, it was cleverly played and I'm not insulting you guys for the ruse. I'm just pointing out as someone who has consistently fought coalitions, the only way to beat them is to do like Kevin said. Plant your own alliances because you cannot trust the judgment of others. SAGE and GML were competent alliances. Had they been plants that I placed for my benefit, the war would've been won for my side. Do you realize how boring and drab this strategy is? Coming from playing OC and always building your coalition with the people there was more exciting and more vibrant strategy. You had to assume that the people you added in your coalition would eventually seek their own personal interests and it meant a lot more warring once the common threat was disposed of. Nowadays it's just.. better coalition wins. Better coalition hands relics to best alliance in coalition. Era ends. There's no building of the coalition during the era. There's no fallout after the other coalition was defeated. It's drab. I wouldn't pay any money to play a game like that, I'd rather just play Europa Universalis IV. At least the AIs on there are more entertaining.

See I am not the only one that feels this way I guess (thanx kenny). I was in VND which had a plethora of subs/brother/sister/kitchen sink ect which contained rania (awesome person and we had great conversations to attempt to stay awake for EoT). Personally, I voiced my opinion regards to the sink; however, in a democratic environment, majority rules and I was not the leader to make the final call. It is what it is........I do appreciate my trophy though as well as the relationships I had established

Also people are now starting to come out of the wood works. If I had the time to play, I would have gladly offered my assistance to PHI being that they are going to be a lamb to slaughter. When I spectate I always root for the heavy underdog. There is no SAGE GML ARM ect to play diversion so just going to be a lopsided battle.
