This thread is way more interesting than the CE action so far so let me give you my two cents. It's free so why not?

What Rania did is not only absolutely normal but in any real CE it is also absolutely necessary to win. So the problem is not with her it is with the other top BD alliances and with BD itself.

Rania brought less allies both in terms of numbers but more importantly quality than me and VND did last era. The only difference is we had Sage and subs, GML and subs and Cbop as enemies and true contenders. And greeny and iceman as fools with wallets but no skill. And that made the era interesting. Not what I expected in terms if competition but still interesting.

This time around no one worth mentioning showed up. And that is not because of some moral or principle issue but simply because they could not get active and organized. So let's call it what it is....BD has gone downhill completely and this CE is a symptom of a game that no longer attracts top talent.

So if you want someone to blame, blame ARM, GML, ROFL and anyone else oh calls themselves top notch and yet did not have the guts to show up. And above all blame BD for poor organization, incentives and attractiveness.

I truly hope Rania wins and if she does she is fully deserving. You cannot blame the champion because the contender is MIA.

That's about it. Oh and blondy saying this is a good one is an insult to all of us who know what good eras competition wise are.

could not agree more. ARM was going to show up and 2 days before the start.....Tiggy that tool happened. For all of those who know him, you know what I mean. So we all turned our backs on him leaving making us part in our separate ways. For myself, too much on my plate to play right now ranging from a newborn and regular RL issue's. I have nothing against Ranie just against the whole word on one side leaving 1 or 2 alliances to fend for themselves. I just feel bad for PHI IND and other smaller alliance that will get hit with a train. Also, I do not know if you saw D; however, I really got the chance to apologize for my metal melt down.....SORRY!

Lex, u don t have idea how dificult was for us to find the best players who wanna play this era, not just for us, for ARM too, we were in touch with them, we had to resurrect some players who weren t playing for long time Eveyone made their best, rumors said many top alliances were comming, Alex with Colin, SAGE, GML, ARM, PHI with the entire Philipines iceman and even alliances specially made with the slogan "kill Ourania", with all this scenario people get prepared in advance or don t play and criticiize watching

No worries Lex we all have stressful lives and snap at times. You are a great player a good person and it was my pleasure to have you on my side for a change

Best to you and your family and hope life will give us a chance to cross paths again. The only reason I stayed in BD for as long as I did were the friends I made. People I then sometimes met in person and shared great times with.

BD used to be special. In all of our old time players' memories it still is. Sadly the current reality is disappointing.

Venom one of the ROFL's 3 leaders already had said when the game dates were declared tat ROFL wouldn't be able to play bcoz of the dates

the consistency of ur complaining posts /replies, make us believe that u wana kill the era only cause u cant play or u feel ur self u cant win or something other not favorable to you or failed on it >> that s going close to trouble maker definition.

No my friend.....there is a major difference between last and current......competition plain and simple. Thats all. If there was competition, sub it up. No competition make it every alliance for themselves excluding actual subs. I do anticipate a lot of deception this era though.

i gues much ppl played or watched last CE including me. that wat hapened is known.

Since people keep bothering me on skype, I thought I'd say something. I can't play this CE for personal reasons; I'm joining the Navy and didn't want to join an era then have to drop due to going to boot camp. Sorry to everyone who thought I'd take another go, or at least make an appearance but it is what it is.

I found it kinda funny; Rania makes this huge sub empire then everyone else decides not to show. I don't think it's coincidental at all. It's not fun to play Battle Dawn when you're fighting against a mindless drove of alliances there for the sole purpose to help 1 person win a fight they normally wouldn't. The competitive community that was found on last CE has no incentive to come back. Sure, they win tokens and a trophy, but does any of that matter? A lot of people play this game because they want to have fun. They want to fight people, play politics, and smash some armies. That's what CBop did in E6 A1. Only, politics didn't work since 3 alliances that normally would be considered competitive decided to hand it to another. Only, fighting people was more like fighting a horde. All and all it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as fun as many other eras I've played, that GML played, that ARM played, that SAGE played, etc. etc. So of course all these alliances don't feel like coming back.

Even if those weren't the main reasons those alliances didn't come back, I can guarantee you it was up there on their list. To play it properly they need to also bring multiple alliances with at least 1-2 competitive alliances as brothers.

Also, if anyone is believing the SoF vs Rania feud, go look through E1 eras. PHI backed Rania multiple times. Looking at the current list of alliances, I don't see a single competitive alliance that isn't in the sphere of Rania's influence.

Good job on your championship win Rania, and good luck on your 3rd trophy next year. ^^
