I think it would better if they had open battle fields where you could run around and fight mobs with your friends in addition to PvP and campaign.
Maybe they should also add more customization options.

If we could "run around and fight mobs" what new battle system would there be since taking turns will not be present

I would love to see a first person shooter of super mechs, but as a separate game. If you would change this in a sort of titanfall the whole game system changes, that isn't supposed to happen.
