I know i am not the only one who has accidentally hit the drone button during battle and accidentally put it away wasting a turn [two turns if you choose to recall it back out]. this has cost me plenty a battles.

my solution A...

make the drones automatic. they should be there from the start and the button to call them should be eliminated.

my solution B...

remove the drone button after calling to eliminate the accidental return of said drone.

Thank you Omni, for bringing this out in the open.
My vote goes for solution B, i think that thet deactivate drone button is totally useless.
I cant really think of a time when i used it on purpose, and especially in the pro-level battles one misclick can cause you to lose the battle.
I however dont support solution A because i think the manual drone calling brings
a strategious aspect to the game aswell, sometimes it is smarter to do it on your first turn,
sometimes it's not. :)

-Soul out, peace.

I vote no.
First: If you good enough you do not make a missclick. If you made, thats your problem and not the game's.
Second: I use the drone off option very often, because I use an energy shield and my drone need energy and if I do not want to my shield turn off I have to turn off my drone. I remember lot of the times when I had only 5 energy left and I have to turn off my drone, because if I don't do that my shield turned off.

And for the A solution: The part of your tactics when do you turn on your drone, so the automatic drone is totally absurd.

So I vote for neither.

Would vote tweak if it was there.

Make it an toggleable setting, whether or not you want the button to be locked or not after your first use of it and toggle it to unlock it. This way it satisfies some and doesnt effect others.

Neither, you need to be able to recall it so it doesn't consume your resources and it should not be automatic as that would remove the strategy of knowing when to use it and when not.

I like this idea and this would actually satisfy me :)

Good Idea Captain

or just add a confirmation box on disabling things:

Disable drone/shield?
[yes][no]

that's why confirmation boxes where invented

Why hasn't this been implemented? Losing because the other Mech is better or my strategy wasn't optimal is fine with me; but losing because I accidentally wasted a couple turns by activating and immediately deactivating my drone is extremely frustrating. It obviously happens to others as well, so why not fix it?
