One of my strategies is moving one space forward from say 7 spots away. Then I can shoot the enemy with a knockback and knock them out of range forcing them to do some sort of movement towards me which wastes a move for them. Doing this already frustrates people lol. I wouldn't want to see people rage if I did even MORE damage on that move. It was a good suggestion though.

That wouldn't apply in what he is proposing though. He is saying, if I have understood correctly, that when a mech is against a wall and gets hit with a weapon that uses knockback it takes more damage. Not every time a mech is hit with knockback.

Sorry, left a little part out. Eventually it results in them getting pushed all the way back to the wall where I just keep knocking them back into it. Thats where the extra damamge would come in. Sorry forgot to clarify.

that is correct Korupt... extra damage ONLY when against a wall where no more knockback is possible.

heres a good example....

say some one is fighting with range one weapons with no knockback such as the Call of Lightning but there opponent keeps knocking them back... they can as of now put there back to the wall and grapple their opponent to them and never loose that range one position because they can not be knocked back. the opponent would then either take the hits or waste a turn by jumping back thyself... in which "wasting a turn" could cost you the battle.

however, if they then took extra damage for being next to said wall... they would think twice about that strategy...
