Same here. My level 18 mech against level 25.

meanwhile I got geared back again lvl 30.
So, if it happens, its only good for me .....

The best part: when I beat a +3 level mech(who starts the battle) I get only +76xp.

oh I never really noticed how much xp I was getting after hitting level 30. Forgot they carried on with the xp.. my bad xD

at version 4.9 i have same situation, that random gives me 24lvl enemy, but my lvl is 18...

Sounds like a little encouragement, if you will (from the game), to play at higher levels. It might also be thought of as "protection" for the newer players to the detriment of the more established players...

I thought the same, but if the devs want the higher level players play in the high levels, just simply ban the lower level battles for the high level players.
This is the best way to protect the new players.
Personally I don't love the high level games, not because the opponents are stronger. I like to fight with strong opponents because I need to think what should I do, or what my opponents next step.
I don't like because you need different styles for the higher and the lower levels. The lower levels suits me better. I can not explain.
Niko1313 you are good in all levels and all styles, maybe one time I'll be as good as you in all levels.
But I love better the lower level battles than the high level battles, and while this is available I play that.
