Hah! Am I allowed to steal this phrase? I like it :)
Back on topic tho: how would you display the power level of fused items then?
We had to change it for the reason that we implemented the fusion core.
Any idea?

Scrolling over the items to view the mech level is enough I think. I can get a general knowledge of how fused up someones mech is by taking a quick look, but to know how much they have actually fused their weapons I always scroll over now to see the extra damage added to the mech.

If you wanted to keep the paint idea though here's one idea. You can only select a paint job for you weapon if it is at a high enough fusion level.
For instance:
Level1: Orange
Level3: Blue
Level5: Pink
Level7: Purple
Level10: Red
Level11: Black
Level12: Gold

I said an idea here: viewtopic.php?f=409&t=27607&start=10

But no one cares. And like I said, higher power level and another colour is just an other reason why the quiters quit. They see a red weapon and quit...need for deterrence? They will leave anyway. If i have a red weapons which has just 20 damagepoint they will quit? They should check the strength. And why is it neccessary? Most of the players are not calculated, so it is totally useless. I would understand if the players knows all the weapons damagepoint, but they don't know... so they should check. I don't know, maybe im wrong.

I wish colors would come back. I miss my pink mech. how about rank on the side of the weapon like tally's? best example would be like on the fuselage on a plane when the pilots got a kill and they put a tally mark.
