After the different statements from the forum and the expressions I made in the game, I am wondering about the future development of players. Many Level 30 players now stated they can't fight on their proper level (me included), because they lack the necessary Legendary items. Some of them have found a level where they have proper stuff to compete, others can't continue and drop out (at least from PvP). I tried to play the game from the scratch, using a Guest account and my experience is that the factor of luck is very decisive. If you get lucky, it is possible for you to compete on a level. However, the support for this level runs dry, because when you are level 21 (for example), you can not longer achieve items for level 18 or below. If your build is centered around level 18, you have to stick to the equipment you have - this is the situation the Level 30 Veteran around are facing. For new players, the levels seem just as a station to pass, hoping for higher level items that would help them in the PvE battles. If they have a good build for PvP, they will continue with it, using fusion of unnecessary items to improve it. Since it takes some time to advance into higher levels, the pressure of competition is delayed for several time. The problem starts if they can't get a useful build on any levels. At last they will be trapped at Level 30, allowing good farming, but facing strong opponents in PvP. Maybe they will try to get better equipment with boxes, but as discussed in the forum (the Grinding thread from Starwa7s), this is a long road and really means trying your luck.
So in the long run, only those players with good equipment will prevail and therefore stay in PvP. Weak players can only prevail in PvP if there are enough other weak players, but from my impression, every level range (especially 30) has its champions who tend to "clear out" the level. Of course there are always new players to join, but on the other side, many non-competitive players leave the game (as currently the Veterans do, having already reached the end of the line). So I am woundering about two things:
1. How is it possible overcome this development? 2. Are there any plans about trying to re-include former veterans into the game (like resetting levels or anything else)?
The latter question is something that also affects me (as already stated in a former thread), as currently all I can do is farming PvE which gets boring and Level 30 PvP is not an option.
