Yes but Imgur works better with forum because you can edit the image and add text to it.

lightshot and gyazo is quick screenshot, u don't add text and stuffs in a quick screenshot

the speed differences of both programs is not really notice-able. However:

lightshot's URL is short, so it's good if u want a short URL. While gyazo's URL is longer, but it used md5 which is a one-way encode system, and make sure that none will be able to guess wat is ur URL. U can say, lightshot's URL is short while gyazo is secured. Although, I don't think we care much about this.

gyazo host their image on their own site, so all u have to do when putting gyazo's image on the forum is to add .png to the end of the URL. While with lightshot, it hosts images on either photobucket (or imageshack, I don't quite remember) and imgur, so u'll need to right click and select copy image link (or image URL) in order to get the correct URL.

Those are the major differences between gyazo and lightshot. Imo, both are more or less equal, if u don't really care for details like that then u can use either one.

You have a lil menu that allows you to and if you want a whole selection of options to play around with simply put /edit at the end of the url.
