If you hit the #1 slot on the weekly challenge, you get 200K - divided by the 1,000 you spend per game you'd end up with 200 wins stacked up to break even. I don't know how the weekly top 3 are figured and it's an extremely rough calculation... only point is the profit potential is there.

I see kits as a tool and part of the build - you can either have an HP build or a build that compensates for lower HP by using kits, in the same manner as having a heat vs. energy build. But to your point - I suppose every player using a shield is a coward also, so let's eliminate all of the game strategic aspects and have a sword fighting contest to the death! As far as tough players go - I will echo the point that every player can be beat, given that you can adapt to the situation and vary your build w/a little common sense. Solid players in my eyes - Side, 0000, BumbleBee, Cloud, Mechanism, Mike, Lorinser, LC, just to name a few. At this point the game builds are largely explored/utilized so it is a matter of having a specific build against another player (build).

i didnt want to attack someone, but this is just my oppinion , if you put words on my mouth, that s your problem, not mine. i dont consider using shield as being cowardiance, just the use of the resistance kits. thats all.

It is not my intent to attack you or anyone either and everyone is entitled to having their opinion - I am merely stating mine and pointing out some "gaps" that I came across (in this thread). The game offers a number of features to boost your defense - e.g., shield, resistance modules and resistance kits. It is up to the players to decide how to utilize the game features to their advantage... ...Another side of the coin... - Niko

Agreed with most of what you say. But some players are better when it comes to general design (the mech design you fight against before you change your own stuff). The thing is, the good players I fought will change for me, and I will change for them — eventually creating a moot fight. If anyone gets to that point with me, I consider them a great opponent and an honor to lose against them.

It has been a while, but these 2 players give me a hard time every time I battle against them.
