I forgot to take in account heat damage...( been gone a while). Still, not every drone can overheat opponents though. If a medic drone were to be used, maybe make it use heat and/or electricity to power it up? Of course, the amount used would be up to the SM team. Plus this is still in beta... They could easily take an item out of the game if they really wanted to if it was not working out that well at all.

I would not mind a medic drone to much, I just think it would be difficult to balance. If anything, make it heal half the damage that is done to an opponent at least. That way, it wont be an unstoppable mech with high defense that won't die.
Agreed. Trying to balance it out sounds quite difficult to me as well. That said the concept sounds alright, but balancing needs more than just algorithmic balance, but requires devs thinking tactically like a player.

I agree on that. Being able to test out items in a beta is a good thing, plus other new mechanics that could be added. I sometimes forget this game is in beta and I am sure other players forget that as well. So, they tend to think that things are set in stone and will stay the way it is....

I would like to see a way to heal other than kits. Plus, adding other ways to play a game and still have it be fun is a good thing. If they do make a healing drone, I would recommend they make it start out weak and slowly make it stronger as they see fit. rather than having an overpower "weapon" and then nerf it.

Also, to let you know I have not even voted yet. So, that one no vote is not from me. ;)

LOL I already voted yes. I agree with pretty much everything said. My only worry was that this would be released and the medic drone was too powerful, but I too agree that this is exactly what beta is for.

The current game isnt balanced anyways. We're in beta I see no reason not to try it out.
