True, but I think the Elo system is still more sophisticated (not a bad thing). I was trying to go more midrange, and I know that the Elo system has it share of criticisms. There are so many ranking algorithms out there, and the rationale for any part to a ranking system is always subjective, as were suggestions.
I was kind of hoping that I would spark a chain of suggestions to be incorporated in the development of a new ranking list, but I'd still rather the higher-ups implement what you suggested, than nothing at all.
