I think having some sub forums in the suggestion area will help keep things organized better.

Examples

1) Weapons Area. To talk about weapons in the game and what could be changed or added

2) Kit/Module Area. Same as above, just replace weapons with kit or module

3) Game Mechanics. Used to talk about how the game works like, knock back, cool down, etc... and what could be changed or added.

4) Torso/Legs Area. What to change and add...etc.

As much as I love to repeat my self.... I think there needs to be better organization here at least.

I agree, but probably more categories than that. Overall game direction, framework of the forums, etc … should also be included. More than that, just the first things that come to my mind.

Could probably include more things, but those are examples that came to me off the top of my head.

More areas will help keep some topics from falling off the first page to fast as some people have been complaining about. So, polls could also be seen longer for those who don't like page 2 and on ward.

adding more subforums and boards only serve as a way to organize the forum better, hence moderation will be easier. However, with the current post influx with the amount of active mods, it's not that hard to moderate every single posts on the forum.

One issue I could see with this is now people would have to go to each sub forum to vote rather than just be able to vote on suggestions in one place. Since it has been talked about that that there may not be enough people to get 30 votes this may not be the best direction to go.

I think it would make it easier to find what you were looking for than looking into a big list of items....

Plus it dose have a title like you said, so the search function will help them find the topics they are looking for.



Think it is best to have it organized now before it becomes a problem later because trying to move topics around when it becomes more active will just confuse more people.



I was thinking that if there were sub forms, people will be able to keep more topics alive than there are right now because there will be more areas to post. I personally think this will also help to increase votes in some topics and not decrease them. Because right now, It just looks like a big mess of random ideas to me when I look at it...

I think if nothing else, the title of the subthread will. at the very least, provide some clarity in the event some titles are less than clear. That said, we do not have so many new threads and so many active posters on this forum where this is a necessity. However, I do think this might be more needed in the future.

Agree with Nick, if its going to be done, better to reorganize 50-100 posts now then 500-1000 posts later...
