Aloha,

I've just had battle with a Mech using a "Soldier" Torso. He had 73 Heat and a shutdown of 44. While 73 Heat is as descirbed in the Workshop - 44 Heat Shutdown is more then the 18 it should have according to description. As he was combat level 20 and had 6 Resistance to all he at least had a Multi-Resistance Modul. With 265 HP instead of 150 there were at least two Armor Modules built in too. So even if he had a Heat Reduction Module which was not altering his total Heat, it shoudn't give him additional 26 Shutdown :)

If 44 Heat reduction is a feature of the "soldier" Torso not a bug I'm going to get one too :)

Actually, i don't think there's nothing wrong here.

I also use Solider torso on my lvl20 mech so i know it like the back of my hand.

So, let's see what kind of modules Solider should have in order to match your description (265HP and 44 shutdown).

First, the HP count:
Base HP for Solider torso is 150.
If he used "The fort" legs (lvl16), then those give additional 55HP
Armor Plating 7 (lvl20) will give additional 60HP.
So, 150 + 55 + 60 = 265, just like you said, but with only 1 armor plating module.

Now, next to the heat shutdown value.
Base shutdown for Solider torso is 18.
Regeneration & Cooldown Module 2 (lvl20) will give additional 13 shutdown.
Since only 1 module was under HP, that leaves 3 slots open.
To get 44 shutdown, one needs to use two "Regeneration & Cooldown Module 2", thus giving 13 + 13 = 26 shutdown.
And when we add the base shutdown to it, 26 + 18 = 44 then we nicely get your described value.

Also, this setup leaves 1 module slot free, and since you said it had 6 resistance for everything, the last slot is occupied with "Multi Resistance Module III" (lvl16).

Additional note about this mech is that since it has two "Regeneration & Cooldown Module 2" it's energy regeneration per turn is 40 (including the base energy regeneration).
And when to look the item's levels, this mech is lvl20 mech.

So, before you start to report something, make sure that you checked all the possibilities, thus negating the confusion you just caused.

Oh, Ferr3t, you can tell the devs that there's nothing wrong with the Solider torso.
