Lower level allways start, that's ok.

But... when 2 players of the same level fight one of them ALLWAYS gets the ini. No matter how many consecutive games you play against a certain player, the ini will go allways to the same player.

I think that is quite unfair.

Initiative.
In RPG games, who wins initiative is the first one to move/shoot.

I had a lot of trouble with this yesterday. Fought a player who is level 37 seven times, and even though he won 5 of seven, he got the first move each time we played. This S.U.C.K.S. It should alternate for players of the same level or at the least the first player should only get one move at the beginning of the game. JMO... Sorry for the rant. LOL

I like the idea with the starting player only getting ONE move when level is equal. An alternative would be to determine the starting player not by the level, but by the total XP

I agree that it should be changed and will pass it forward as suggestion. Total hp might be an indicator as well when both are on the same level. So changing an item could help. Another idea is to look at the win/loss ratio. The one with the better ratio can be 2nd.

Barmonster and me have quite some experience that I start always first
(on a personally note, thanks for still fighting  )

I don't think, that total HP is an indicator for the stronger player (at equal levels). As far as I understood, XP- and money rewards are directly linked, so if you don't have a premium-account, every player with the same XP has gotten the same ressources and has access to the same items. If my HP is lower than that of an equal level opponent, then it is either, because I have a different configuration of modules or I wasted my money on tons of repair kits or changed my strategy after each level-up. Win/loss ratio isn't ideal either.
Another possibility we didn#t thought about yet is the position in the ranking-list. Higher position starts second (but only at equal-level encounters).
But still I like the ideas with the total XP or the starting player only getting one turn best.

Whatever his level, ranking, W/L, HP... PLEASE, let the player with lower level Mech (whole parts, as average) get the first hit.

Here is a post from Newgrounds game portal (this is where I play from). post is mine, reply is from author of game;
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
bla bla bla... Why give the first turn to "player with lower account level"? Account level doesnt mean that Im stronger. First turn should be used by "player with lower level mech parts". more bla bla bla...

We are Tacticsoft :)

An independent game company which has developed BattleDawn, Supermechs and several minigames. We are the team around Michael. At the moment we count around 10 staff members. And Liran is the main guy for Supermechs. He created it mainly.
You can be sure, no matter to whom of us you report issues, here,on Newgrounds, Facebook, or wherever - we'll do our best to solve it.

Cheers,

Ilona
