If I remember correctly, subs were an unheard of thing in the old Battle Dawn. You know, back in the days when relics came from wreckages, and I was just a wee little lad...

i remeber once i was playing for my first time in he 20's trying to get in the 15 or below range, i attack this guy who had been conquered 50 time by other people and he was free at around the end of the world so i conquer him and a day later i find my army half of what it was the previous day, apparently he was in an "alliance" with 4 other people near me and he had joined that team after i attacked him, because of this i went to the 60's and never recovered as i wasn't boosting either tokens. Point is I agree with your point.

The inability to mass attack with allies agianst a pain in the *** gets annoying. "Solo" worlds just a random idea that the bd ceo made to make extra money, or who ever comes up with the idea. So if your a big bad *** booster in bd this is a way of nearly becoming untouchable in bd, because no one can mass attack. Just another idea to get boosters to pay for tokens. Solo is good to a point, but be better if allies could mass attack as well as if solo was the only worl dyou can boost in.
cant boost in*

I love solo because i don`t now how many times I`ve been in an alliance and getting mass attacked while I`m the ONLY one on-line to defend. No matter how good you are there is not much to be done against 5 armys solo , unless of course you are on a solo world and can kill them 1 by 1.

You remember incorrectly. Subs were always an issue in battle dawn. A share of the original changes introduced with New Client were made to counter subs - this failed miserably and was quickly given up on. And yes Solo is terrible in terms of subs. Personally I think Battle Dawn needs some serious new gameplay mechanics to disadvantage any alliances sharing your territory.

I had a massive idea before that included a total overhaul of resource outposts and a production multiplier altered by the amounts of conquered by your alliances vs not conquered by your alliance colonies in range of your resource outposts and a bonus for possessing all resource outposts in a continent.
It's quite complicated, I can explain in detail if you like. But I doubt it'd ever be implemented so didn't really bother with it beyond sharing it with other alliance leaders on skype.
