I think a lot of people "believe" in God not because of faith, but because they are afraid of what happens after death, or are afraid of dying. To be honest, the idea that after I die, nothing happens, that is it, does not fill me with joy. But I won't let fear get way of logical thinking.

Sure, the idea of an omnipotent god, all knowing, all loving, is fantastic. Great, now I know I'll be all right! But hardly believeable.
