First of all, you dont understand the difference. Atheism is a disbelief in God, or the principle of a higher power. So Atheists are not people who dont believe in Christianity, but are people that dont believe in the idea of a supernatural being. Religion on the other hand, is just a set of rules and regulations anyway. They are all man made. For example Hinduism is one of the major religions of the world, and according to Hinduism, Atheism is valid. Atheism, Pantheism, polytheism,monotheism all are valid concepts in this religion. On the other hand Islam or Christianity or Judaism, believe there is only one god. Buddhism on the other hand is a religion that follows teachings of Buddha - who was basically an Indian Prince who went on to become a monk. So you see, religion is something man made, and therefore, its as dirty as it can get. Its vile, hateful, superstitious and violent. Therefore, Atheists while rejecting the principle of a higher power, also reject religion for the simple reason that both concepts personify stupidity.

Secondly, WTF do you mean you are a Christian but not a Catholic? So you are telling me that you are a Christian that believes only in your church's teachings? And all other Christians out there, who belong to a different school of thought arent Christians at all? This itself proves how religion divides. You Christians arent united in the first place. I mean I have seen protestants here, scare the *CENSORED* out of me, by starting to cry, beat their chest and go *CENSORED* crazy during a sermon. They look like morons on dope. LOL. And Ive seen them being hateful towards Catholics, almost being racists. So much for embracing god lol.

Also, to address your last para, Atheists are not atheists because they dont believe in the Pope, or the bible. Like I said, they just hate god and religion, cuz they are stupid superstitious concepts. We all know the Vatican. The moron that is the pope today, was a member of the Nazi Hitler youth LOL. Go figure. We all know how popes have at one point or another been pedophiles. Not all, but many of em. So the Vatican is just a bunch of old goons, in colorful bedsheets with a lot of money and a holier than thou attitude. These guys should be arrested for their transgressions and thrown in jail. lol.
