I'm quite fond of those movies i just mentioned, and i know i watched more like them when i was little so i'm sure if i thought i could come up with more. I tend to prefer live actors when it comes to series though  I also tend towards more realism-based shows (Weeds, NCIS, Law and Order, Parenthood, etc), though there are of course exceptions (I'm currently obsessed with True Blood [in love with Eric  ]). That said, I can't really see myself getting hooked on anime

PLEeeeAaaaSE!!!!

@freefood.. The anime movies u mentioned r by Hiaya Miyazaki n Sudio Ghibil...
All of their movies r awesome.. 2 suggest u a few 'Grave of the fireflies (if u want something based on real events)'.. and any of the 9 movies of Miyazaki...
