the opening theme song is aweosme.. the philosophical questions it raise is awesome.. elfen lied is not an anime 4 evry1... there is blood n nudity but it has deeper and darker meaning..
humans trying to eradicate Diclonius n vice versa reminds me of the holocaust...

or Tsukihime, it has some blood, good romance and some non-PG-13 stuffs as well.

Fate/Stay Night is supposed to be an adult game, but when adapted to anime it removes the whole scene, and replace it with a lame "entering the body, meet the dragon and get eaten" scene. But overall it's a good one.

Kanon is also an adult, romance game. However, when adapt to anime, it removes all adult scenes.
