ego contests- we've had 2 non-spamfest related ego contests since i've been here. both had 10 or more sign up. always they ended because of-not lack of tokens, but the host aborting his duty. you can't say these things will fail because of a lack of reward. both the host and the players MUST be there.

takes two to tango. Ego contest was a bad example, it was just pointing it out. and i agree, the host and players need to be there for the games to be fun. Thats something most of us can't really control, but we can at least try can't we? And ego contests should have longer posts, Spamfest we were pretty good about it, but usually in games the shorter posters lose due to lack of examples and ideas. Dyl- Nice job in KoTH, thats what we mean. Longer posts=happy spammers and enjoyment=better spam. Thats the cycle of spam

SpamFest was a huge load of work >.< although we did get a bunch of people, we did seem to get 1 more person  mxmxm  I'd say I will commit to running, ECoTM Ego Contest of the Month  So every month I will run 1 ego contest if you guys are commit to play. If you guys like it I will bring it up with seth and get the Go ahead

Thats the cycle of spam Not to sound conceited or egotistical but in that regard I think I'm one of the best when it comes to ego contests. I'll try to post like I did in KoTH but I did come in here around the time that random spamming was really picking up.

Yeah you did, and you are pretty good at Ego contests, but think about it
Longer posts tend to have more details and excitement, while shorter ones are boring and people don't really read. If you post longer, more and more people will.
