What is that about? I have it in my orders menu, alliance, priority high, tick 410. When I click on it I have a blue shield around 4700 kms away.
I don't understand this, please help. BTW my first week here :|

everyone in the alliance create a beacon visible alliance wide. that blue shield is probably the defense order.

I never got a mentor :( :( I think that scarred me for life... you should get a mentor.... so you shall not be scarred, like me.

It's just a way to show your alliance something, anyone outside of your alliance cannot see it.

it's the alliance orders, u use it to mark something on the map. It could be the next targets, or the place u're supposed to defend, the place u have to relocate to, wreckages, crystals, or sometimes it's just used to tease each other (like I put an alliance order on Jake, who is in my alliance, and say I'm a noob with a smiley).
