well I prefer something to end when it's in the top, like Death Note. Too long anime/manga will make the fans go bored and don't care about it anymore.

I think the problem is the lack of story that have, that they can spend 100 chapters that apport 0 to the serie, and people get tired of it. If they put 10 "filling" chapters and 1 or 2 that advances in the plot things would be better

I don't agree Death Note ended when it was on the top

They should ended it at the half of the series, after the time skip it's not the same as before

no the timing is quite right, Light must defeated L to prove his superiority (if Light was caught by L then it would be very disappointed)

I don't know if you have seen "The Last Name", a live action (real actors) of Death Note. I hate live actions, and this one is not an exception, but I like the idea behind it.

btw have u read the newest chapter (bonus chapter) of Death Note? It's after the death of Light, a boy had the DN and claimed to be a Kira. But Near solved it with one sentence only :lol:

You mean the story on the vol. 13 that released last year? Now I don't remember that N solved the case, I thought the kid turned himself to the police. I should read it again to refresh my memory
