The only good books in my opinion are fiction. They can bring a sense of innocence, love, or intelligence in their characters that humans lack. Plus, all the classics are fiction or historical fiction. War and peace? To kill a mockingbird? Of mice and men?

I really didn't like of mice and men, just saying.

And yeah, agreeing with dyl here. Although there are some creative nonfiction books that are stunning...

World without End and Pillars of the Earth and The Fall of Giants by Ken follett.

The Hunger Games series

The Count of Monte Cristo

Animal Farm

1984

Brave New World

Teh DaVinci code and Angels and Demons

The Lost Symbol

The Cottage

Taming of the Shrew

Iliad and Odyssey

The Inheritance Cycle

To Kill a MockingBird

A Clockwork Orange (Probably my personal favorite)

There's tons more, but I'm hungover and tired. I'll get more later. But I've read all of those and I highly recommend them to any reader out there.

It's such a great book.

If you, or anyone, are into Historical Fiction, read Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. It's over 1000 pages, but it's so freaking amazing.
