Yes speaking here wont change anything. But you cant fight these dudes head on. They are too powerful and too rich and these things run very deep and very high up in the organizational ladder, not just in the US but in every country. To get rid of this though, you need good decision makers. I hear Mr. Ron Paul is good. But I myself saw how Fox News didn't even wanna SAY his name on Air. While printing his name on the screen!! Such is the bias.

The only solution will be for citizens to be informed individuals. If its one thing the US citizens have got, its a democratic system. That should be used by the people effectively, by making informed decisions. Informed decisions come through making information (actual, true information) available widely. And not buying into corporate BS that gets aired, that favors the very people you wanna vote out. Posting here where there are lots of young people, MIGHT actually influence a few of them atleast when they come of age to vote, and they MIGHT go on to tell their friends etc. That's just atleast my motive.

Ways to better the world? Heh. This is not something you can definitively put your finger on.

What it is going to take ultimately is for people to realize that the power lies in numbers. Get sick of the corruption and immorality of the ruling elite, organize and make it clear that you we the people are smarter than they think we are, and that we are not going to put up with it anymore.

Too many though, are simply too eager to not care and focus on themselves, their own concerns and conveniences and their shallow facebook pages. Being a deep thinker it seems, is out of style.

Wow. Has anyone ever considered that the people portrayed as bad and evil are actually good?

"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." --interview with CBS News' Katie Couric, Sept. 6, 2006

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." --Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

"Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter." --in parting words to world leaders at his final G-8 Summit, punching the air and grinning widely as those present looked on in shock, Rusutsu, Japan, July 10, 2008

"See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda." --Greece, N.Y., May 24, 2005

"For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it."

"This is an impressive crowd -- the haves and the have mores. Some people call you the elite -- I call you my base." --at the 2000 Al Smith dinner

^Actual quotes from George Bush.

Yay indeed.

Maybe you will say YAY again when the shoulder launched anti aircraft missiles they smuggled from libyan weapon stockpiles to bolster the Al Qaeda stockpiles, are used against the coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Maybe will be shouting YAY when the new transitional government decides to implement Shariah law and the Taliban moves in to nest there too.

Yay indeed.
