Essentially they're quite similar with the fact that both series are from Light Novels published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. Both are action series, and both have 2 seasons. lol. (P.S. Railgun is just a side story so >.>)

7. Shinryaku! Ika Musume
About a "mutated" human-squid who planned to subdue the world only to end up as a servant in a nearby beach store. This anime will cause you to laugh 99% of the time and cry 1%.

8. Code Geass
You know what it is, right?

9. Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai
A series about sister who's a closet otaku and her brother in sometimes dramatic and sometimes comedic scenarios.

10. Pokemon
It deserves this place.

Fate/Stay Night (prefer VN more but well)
Clannad
KyoAni Trio (in ronelm)
Bakuman (prefer manga more)
Shakugan no Shana, Louise no Tsukaima, Hayate no Gotoku, Toradora (mostly for Rie-chan)
Strike Witches (all heart for Hartman and Lucchini)

Seems like death note is on everyone's list. Have you read Bakuman? It's from the same artist and author.

nah haven't watched it and I don't have any interest on mecha.

Any harem, ecchi anime/manga is fine ^^. Of course it must have cute girls.
