5 years ago. My friend was going on and on about some game. I decided to try it out just to shut him up. I joined in the OC, finished in the top 10 that era and got hooked on the game. Never left it ever since. I only joined the forums less than a year ago. Never bothered with them before.

I'm playing Adventure Quest while i saw the Ads of Battledawn and Tried it. First played E4 and got conquered by Hannibal of Carthage(BYZ Leader) and that's the start of my Journey :lol:

note: you do not qualify to post here, there is nothing i can do to stop you but if you read my first post i would like for people who has played for over a year.

Note Again: That History is since E4 OC means almost 5 years ago? hah

you can ask the Senior Mod Shion for how long I've been in this game and he will tell you the same

Ahh, I remember it like it was close to 4 years ago..

I found it spammed in the review of another game, played it for a little while, then got bored as I ran out of resources. Some days later I got really bored, and tried to find the link, when I finally found it and logged on I had full resources, so I felt awesome! I made a all armor army and started invading my conquer's territory.. then I got killed, and left again..
After a couple more days later I got back to the game, I randomly saw a broadcast asking for help to defeat BUL5, the alliance I were conquered by, so I relocated to Australia and joined a sub there. Short story, we were crushed, but I met a couple of people there, player with them on E6 after that, the alliance got disolved, so I begged to join LoW, got a spot in the sub. Thats when I first started using msn for BD people, I still talk to some of them from time to time <3

A truly evil friend told me about it. I was so young and naive in the OC, just trying to eke out some form of prestige in the game I was pushed into. I was kicked around, conquered and beaten, yet I was hooked; addicted to the game like Cookie Monster is to his prized stash. I played for about a month there, surprised my soul's still with me, or so I assumed.

But I did the somewhat impossible: I took a break from BD. I was gloriously free, free! This new found liberty from the fun yet dangerously addicting game lasted for a about year or two (I lost track of what you call 'time'). One day, as I was innocently surfing the web (and I must stress the word 'innocently') I came across an ad. It was simple, unremarkable, yet it drew me closer to it, and before I knew what hit me, I was in their site. The memories came flooding back like lunch after riding a carousel operated by a sadistic man. No, I thought, NO!!! WHYZZ!! My hand sprung into a life of its own, working towards the 'Launch Game' button in a cruelly slow pace, as if savouring each moment that it had with its lover, the mouse, and thinking of being together forever. I tried everything to stop it, even to the point of trying to gnaw my arm off (I tasted delicious I might add) but it was all in vain. I was launched into a strange world, which the tag referred to as 'Mars 3'. I was scared now, really scared. My sub-conscious took over, forcing me to play. I was doing well, better than I hoped, and posted a decent rank at round's end. I thought that was the last of it, but then my mind, which was now filled with an overwhelming desire for power and prestige, took over my bodily functions once more (most of them anyways; don't drink from that jar) and pushed me into another round. I resigned myself to it, and began enjoying it once more. My mind developed strategies for me to use, and took in research from those who have been in the game longer than I. I began to post better scores, and with each progression, all non-BD thoughts and memories began to slip away to oblivion. I was hooked again and I was aware of it, but I said 'ah whatever' and continued on.

And that's how I got to play BD.

well with me i was very bored and needed something to do so i curriously searched top mmos and all that lot then i saw battle dawn and began to play i think i first entered fantasy 1 and i was confused and it was a bit boring at first as it was so slow and then when my protection ran out i was stuffed as king carlos i think leader of the ray alliance conquered me so i was annoyed and then for the rest of the era as i joined late went on to keep taking his ops and he once sent me a message that if i wouldn't stop he would then fire 100 dragons at me but i just kept going and it was fun and he was getting annoyed with me

then when the era ended i went to join earth 4 and finished 88th in the 11th best alliance so i was quite proud of myself until i tryed the same technique next era then got conquered as i learnt armour may be cheap but get torn about in battle by range units

and thats it the good old days
