When I start a rebellion i usally build up my defence and build a sheild generator it should buy 12 ticks or you can relocate to a safe area if your conquered and you just have relocated your colony will automatically start rebelling.

good luck to you all new players.

i hate shield generators on rank 100 people. I normally just end up nuking them. XD

Tip for conquerors:

1. Spam your high ranked conquers every 1 or 2 days to drain their shield if any.

2. Check their statistics to see if they have a lot of units the last time you dealt with them.

3. If they doing so in 2., clear their colonies.. if you don't mind losing a few armor here and there, I know I don't mind sacrificing some armor to ensure that your conquers sit their ass down and feed you taxes, and get more kills in your statistics.
*Note: For minimal losses, always make sure you kill them in one round.

4. Nuking is the last resort IF they have already gathered a lot of army and you don't have enough to clear their forces in one round.

I successfully employed the relocate and build a massive army of ranged/armor while you rebel tactic. BUT

It wasn't very efficient! because I lost at least 5 outposts trying to move away...

This was on a Solo world though, so I didn't have any alliance members to move in and guard my outpost.

before you relocated if you had any floating squads on your colony, they would op hop to your next location upon your command.ops gained through this is usually a good way to keep that from mattering (unless you raze every op that isnt made by you)

I don't understand what you're getting at. Can you rephrase and expand on your ideas a little to make it more clear?

ok....
you're whining about losing ops when you relocated (assuming they were taken by evil peoples)next time, try to do the following and it more or less wont matter
1)already have some squads made that cannot travel with you
2)after relocation, have them op hop, moving and taking ops to make a path to your colony
assuming you keep these ops you probably wont have enough taken from you to worry about

OH! See, that's not what I was saying, which is why your response confused me.

I was in the middle of the map and trying to relocate to the upper right corner to join an ally who had invited me to join up work together. I had to create 6 ops in the area he was in before I could relocate because his conquers kept snatching them before I had enough control ticks to relocate.

The problem persisted over a huge area of land too. I ended up finally just catching all the little guys off line by dropping the outpost in the dead of the night and relocating crazy early in the morning. 6th one was the charm.

But rebelling that way cost me 10,000 oil to relocate, and 90 workers, 3000 metal, and 1800 additional oil for the all the outposts I had to build before I actually got one that stayed put for 24 ticks.

I had the same thing happen on E4 really early, but after my first outpost was captured I didn't try again.
