That's what I was thinking.
Tanks are stronger but you can't fit MORE of them into a squad/ship than you can infantry.
Tanks may be tough against concussive damage but the other two units also have advantages to the other specific weapon types. So that's just a matter of flavor.
Tanks Take longer to train than anything else, so that's actually a point against them.
Daerduo says Tanks get a bonus against infantry but I can't find anywhere in the wiki or ingame where it says that, and Ferret actually says they don't get a bonus at all.
Taking that all together.
Infantry Pros2 tick training time
25% bonus to all vehicles
Recover from spy attacks quickly
Vehicle Pros4 tick training time
25% bonus to all tanks
More health per unit than Infantry
Tank ProsMore Health per unit than anything else
The game is balanced out so you can fit the same amount of firepower per squad regardless of unit. 30 infantry, 20 tanks, 10 infantry. Correct? So that means unit size is not a factor.
Anyone have anything to add? Because without proof that the Tanks have some advantage against infantry it looks like I would favor infantry as well..
