Are the location of bonus outposts random every new era or do they have fixed locations?

Bonus outposts? Never heard of such a thing.. Do u mean gold mines and lumber mills or oil and gas?? If so I think they are placed randomly...

Metal and oil mines are placed in the same place each era, wreckages are placed randomly every tick ;)

Yes, I meant metal/gold mines and oil wells/lumber mills.

THENICKRULZ says it's random while Ferr3t says it's fixed.. so which is it? random or fixed?

I'm 100% sure that metal and oil mines are fixed.. You can check for yourself, just visit a couple of worlds :)
