KoR also has a 21squad TB up Alaska. Again, how is this any different then what mL is doing?

This is different because:

KoR are no threat to mL - let's be honest.
A 21 squad TB v. 8 or 10 (sorry too lazy to go count) TB operations base plus nuke field, with no other imaginable targets in the area to warrant this size of operation, plus 4 digit numbers of units.

Surely you jest?!

It means that I took out a few UE OPs when I saw that mL was being attacked in Asia. Following the logic of the old adage 'what's good for the goose is good for the gander', this seemed only fair. I'm pretty certain that I'm missing a few UE OPs because ya'll had some squads in North America as late as 3 or 4 days ago. I've watched them rather closely for quite a while now......

No, it's not any different. UE and KoR just want the world to think that it is. KoR and UE have evidently jumped the gun and are now trying to save a bit of face and blame mL for the mess.

Again, what is the deal with Edwin?

Maybe Edwin wanted out of the impending doom that KoR and UE are trying to bring onto themselves?

I mean really, what other way to start a war with a stronger alliance than nuke them multiple times? I think Edwin saw that and just wanted out. Props Edwin.

This is ridiculous, their is no reasoning with these people.

Obviously they WANT war? Not sure why. But even after the continual bombardment of mL's Asian stronghold, mL has yet to retaliate in any official sense.

Too bad KoR's ruler is an illiterate moron, or else I might be able to have a civilized conversation with him about all of this. I guess I should only speak to UE, since it seems like KoR is merely another UE sub in disguise.

PS: Do not give Edwin any credit for anything, he just likes to jump ship when the going get's tough. He would fit in well with RAGE of Absinthe, maybe they are real life friends....from France maybe?

Well, I'm trying to reason with you redwurm - you were asking for reasons & I posted some. When you say 'these people' I'm speaking for myself. Want war? What's wanted is a secure colony zone, safety for relics, and security for our allies.
UE subs? Well no, your crusade on subs worked - good job i think - there are just allies now, not subs. And allies can be stronger than subs.
Edwin issue - it's not really anyone's business outside UE.
Calling people whose 1st language may not be english illiterate morons is intolerant & it goes on a fair bit on the boards. Give people a break.

Seems like a sub. You both relocated right next to each other, and I'm sure if you relocate again...you will do the same.

On the subject of the illiterate part, maybe you are right..a bit too far and for that I apologize. Its just practically impossible to have a conversation about this situation when the person on the receiving end understands about half of what I say (and is quite inactive).

War is the point of this game, in the end, is it not? Don't over analyze. Or Do, but remember that you are.

maybe you don't want war before you're ready. Eventually it'll come for you so just try to enjoy it while you can. Take it for what it is and don't get too hung up on the details.

That's what willow thinks anyway

ps.
redwurm fails because that avatar drives me crazy...

wow wow lots has been happening the last few ticks

I will answer a couple of questions but not to many because i might get in trouble

1. UE never wanted a war with mL why would they? mL are obviously masters of propaganda but believe me UE wasn't after a war it was mL. mL built TBs and nukes very close to where the UE hive saying they wanted to take out the relocating BDA members we let them(not really sure why) and then after they hit the BDA guys they stayed. At this point they were within 6 ticks of some of our members. Instead of nullifying the threat we decided to try and be diplomatic about and eventually relocated away to indo to avoid inflaming the situation because we didn't want a war mL.

2. UE didn't relocate to indo to be closer to KoR our "supposed" sub. The Protector had wanted to move there for a long time (im talking tick 500) and the mL situation was the motivation for us to finally move

well there is a reason we aren't complaining. ;)

okay thats all for now i might drop by again in a couple of days and answer a few more questions (maybe even the edwin issue) but until then bye

heh your talking politics, the battle is taking place right over my allince. ue asked me twice to join them in attacking mL. i aould have agreed, becuase i hate mL. but UE took my alliance's strongest member. that pissed me off even more, and to add icing to that cake, they made him attack my alliance. so redwurm i want dibs on UE in my colony's area.
